All breathing valves from Breetec operate according to the same principle: a weight is pushed up by a pressure difference and automatically closes when the pressure - ranging from 2.5 to 500 mbar - returns to the desired level. This technique is more reliable than breathing valves that work with springs or water as a lock. Working with weights also provides much greater precision.

Type 1513
The 1513 series of over-/underpressure breathing valves is mainly used for pressure regulation in water purification plants and will come into operation in case of both excessive overpressure and underpressure in the tank. With this model, harmful substances present in the tank can be quickly and efficiently discharged through the connected chimney. Therefore, this type of valve is suitable for indoor installation.
Type 1113R
The 1513 series of over-/underpressure breathing valves is mainly used for pressure regulation in water purification plants and will come into operation in case of both excessive overpressure and underpressure in the tank. With this model, harmful substances present in the tank can be quickly and efficiently discharged through the connected chimney. Therefore, this type of valve is suitable for indoor installation.

Type 1413R
The 1413R series of over-/underpressure breathing valves is mainly mounted on tanks and silos and will come into operation in case of both excessive overpressure and underpressure in the tank or silo. This valve is very suitable for outdoor installation and is used as a standard model on silos.
Type 1412R
The 1412R series of underpressure breathing valves is mainly mounted on tanks and silos and will come into operation in case of excessive underpressure in the tank or silo. A characteristic feature of this model of breathing valve is the underpressure housing that is located directly above the flange connection.

Type 1111
The 1111 series of overpressure breathing valves is mainly mounted on tanks and silos and will come into operation in case of excessive overpressure in the tank or silo. A characteristic feature of this model is the side outlet, through which harmful gases can be discharged in a closed system. This makes this valve very suitable for indoor installation or on water purification tanks.
Type 1411
The 1411 series of overpressure breathing valves is mainly mounted on tanks and silos and will come into operation in case of excessive overpressure in the tank or silo.

Options
The standard range of Breetec consists of six elements that can be mounted in combination for numerous possible overpressure and underpressure situations. They can be supplied with three options: a bird net, grounding, and proximity switch. In extreme weather conditions, the breathing valves can also be optionally insulated and heated.
